LOVE this bread! August 27, 2010 B. Wood (Buffalo,New York) This is excellent toasted, has an interesting packaging which makes for an extremely long shelf life! I buy it by the case from Amazon. My son and I finally have a bread to make into french toast, P.B. & Jelly, dunk into eggs, and make grilled cheese ( of course it's not real cheese, but he doesn't have to know that!)
It is amazing how many things you can take for granted until you have to do without and a slice of bread is one of them but not any more B-)
If you are gluten free, this is by far the best G/F bread we have tried and like!
arrival of product August 12, 2010 celiac john My EnerG bread came in a box that was to flimsy for the product.
Some damage was done could have been when packed or in transit.
Some loaves were not what I would have picked in a store .
Excellent Alternative July 28, 2010 Caleb I've been buying this stuff at the store, and was quite surprised by how much I saved buy buying it in bulk online. Kudos, Ener-G!
IT'S THE NEXT BEST THING April 15, 2010 A. Burson (ELKHART, IN USA) I REALLY LIKE THIS GLUTEN-FREE TAPIOCA BREAD. AT FIRST I WAS HESITANT IN PURCHASING THIS BREAD BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW IF IT WOULD BE GRITTY, TOO SOFT OR TASTELESS. I HAD EATEN THE PAPA LOAF BEFORE THIS, BUT NOW I AM ALLERGIC TO POTATO, SO I HAD TO FIND ANOTHER BREAD. I LIKE THE TEXTURE, NOT SOFT OR MUSHY, NOT TO DENSE, JUST RIGHT. YOU CAN MAKE WONDERFUL FRENCH TOAST, GREAT FOR SLOPPY SANDWICHES AND CHEESE TOAST! IT COMES IN REGULAR SLICE OR THIN SLICED. I PERSONALLY ENJOY THE THIN SLICED BREAAD. I TOAST MY BREAD AND THE BUNS, IT BRINGS OUT THE FLAVOR OF THE BREAD. SO ENJOY.
If you like styrofoam with a faint taste of tapioca March 26, 2010 Michael Makrakis (Sacramento, CA USA) I was looking forward to trying this bread. I usually get Food for Life gluten free breads which have a good taste and texture even as I buy them frozen from the market. Needless to say when I received my order for this bread opened it and tried it, well lets just say I was sadly surprised. This bread was so bad I first checked the tie for a freshness date thinking it must be really stale, but to my surprise it said the bread was good till Jan. 2011. I understand this is due to their special freshness wrapping, but this bread is anything but fresh. Please be warned this bread is to be kind not very good. I only hope the people that said this is good bread must have gotten it either very much fresher or they have no taste buds.
Well I've said my piece. I can only add the old tried and true, buyer be wear.
Good Luck and Good buying.
