Product Description Gluten free. Wheat free. Vegan. From premium brown rice. Lundberg Rice Cakes: Delicious, nutritious, whole grain goodness! Our rice cakes are made with our own freshly milled brown rice to ensure freshness, great taste and whole grain goodness. With nearly twice-as-much rice as other brands, our cakes are packed with twice the flavor, value and nutrition. Lundberg Family Farms Rice Cakes are wheat free, gluten free and made with the natural goodness of brown rice. Truly exceptional taste and a healthy snack for the whole family! Enjoy! Always in Balance with Nature: Lundberg Family Farms has been growing healthy, high quality, great tasting rice in Northern California since 1937. Our Eco-Farmed rice is grown using a combination of eco-positive farming methods from prior generations and innovations from today. Our highest priorities include improving the soil while protecting the air, water, and wildlife. We return rice straw to the soil after harvest (instead of burning) to enrich the soil and protect the air and the environment. Eco-Farmed rice is grown with limited chemicals, allowing rice to compete with weeds and pests. We practice crop rotation, utilizing nitrogen-fixing crops for soil enrichment. We provide valuable habitat for a variety of animals. For example, migrating waterfowl rest in flooded fields during the winter and in return they help to decompose straw and improve soil fertility. We practice water-conserving irrigation. Lundberg Family Farms does not grow genetically engineered rice varieties. We use only natural pest control systems in our handling and processing facilities. We purchase green power for our handling and processing facilities. We care for our rice from planting to packaging to ensure you'll always receive the highest quality rice.

The Shipping Box Says Handle With Care August 12, 2010 stuartl (Virginia) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
As rice cakes go these are pretty good, but the shipping the last two times I've purchased has not been acceptable.
These are rice cakes in plastic bags. That means they are fragile and the bags will tear. Removing a section off the shipping box, exposing 4 bags, and then thoroughly taping the exposed bags with packing tape is not very smart. The exposed bags are beaten up, and it is impossible to remove packing tape from a plastic bag without tearing the bag.
The first time I thought it was an accident, but twice?
The BEST brand of rice cakes March 11, 2010 Dr. Mom to Three (Suburban Chicago, IL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Lundberg makes the absolutely best rice cakes out there. They are substantial, crunchy, and have a wonderful rice flavor. If you've ever tried the other brand's product, you know that the other rice cakes taste and feel like styrofoam. Not these! They're so good that my kids ask for them. Plus they are 100% gluten free for those who need to be concerned about that. Amazon ships these in a sturdy box. All of the sleeves came intact. What an easy way to shop.
Not the air-puffed variety March 5, 2010 A. Vogel (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These rice cakes are tasty and substantial, not like the average super-market variety that is overly puffed with air. My kids have mild allergies to wheat and these fit the bill nicely.
Too much salt February 24, 2010 Cobe (Phoenix, AZ- United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These rice cakes are have too much salt: 65 mg per cake. I have purchased them several times but now I will stick to Quaker rice cakes which are much lighter and have 15 mg of salt per cake, which is 4 times less salt than these ones.
Best I've Tried October 1, 2009 Claudia M. Vaughn (Savannah, GA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are the best rice cakes I've tried. They actually have taste and a light crisp texture. They do tend to be a bit crumbly, but overall really good. I go through a package of them in a couple of days and I have not had any problem with them going stale before I can eat them up.
