| Customer Reviews:
odd taste January 28, 2010 P. Moore (McKenney, VA United States) I have been on a GF diet for ten years. I've used these buns several times over the years and still can't get used to the odd smell and taste. As soon as I open the package I put the remaining buns in the freezer so I know they're "fresh" (maybe if I let them get freezer burn it'd kill the taste?). So why do I continue to buy them? Like the others I'm desperate to have burgers.
I agree with another review in that homemade buns (and bread) are a lot better (but they are so much trouble to make!).
Stale and tasteless January 27, 2010 Harold A. Mitzner (Independence, MO) The only good thing about this is that I can eat a hamburger on it, but it is stale, tough and tasteless. I'll see if heating it up will help, but I'm pretty sure it won't help much, too dry to begin with.
Did not like taste January 16, 2010 Roger Wentowski (Birmingham, AL USA) The product arrived as described, but neither I nor my children found it to be to our liking.
I've personally found when it comes to any kind of gluten free bread you by far get the best results doing something home made.
gluten free hamburger buns November 3, 2009 S. Poet (Albuquerque, NM) This product is wonderful if you can't eat gluten. It must be popped into the microwave for 30 seconds to freshen it up.
