| Customer Reviews: Bread with some texture September 26, 2009 H. Johnson (Northern Nevada middle of nowhere) I seenthis item on amazon and ordered it on a whim. I was surprised it had texture and made a sandwich a bit more enjoyable. They are getting closer to making a product similar to flour bread.
Decent bread, decent taste, works well in untoasted sandwiches April 27, 2009 Mr. Scott Grover (san diego ca) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Difficult to find a gluten-free, good-fiber bread that does not cost an arm and a leg. Try this for sandwiches. Rather bland taste, so buy it for the nutrition and put the tasty stuff between the slices!
Best GFCF & egg free packaged bread we've found February 27, 2008 Dee (Mid-Missouri) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
We used to buy Ener-G's Tapioca Loaf, but after trying this one we've switched. We've been gluten-free, casein-free and egg-free for almost 2 years and it's hard to find a bread that tastes like the real thing. This bread looks and tastes more like a light wheat bread. It's not as dry as the tapioca bread and has a better, nuttier flavor. My son likes it a lot and he's an extremely picky eater. We ordered it in bulk with the 6 loaves and had no problem with mold like a previous reviewer reported. Very happy customers!!!
Not a good idea to order in bulk May 24, 2007 shiloh 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
Out of the 6 loaves, I ended up throwing 4 of them away as they were molded. Even though the expiration date was 9/07, they were molded in Feb and again in May. They were still in their original packaging. So I ended up paying over $20 for 2 usuable loaves of bread.
Nice choice especially if you can't eat egg November 1, 2006 J. Richards 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
For an egg free, wheat free, gluten free, dairy free bread it's an excellent bread. Good consistency and texture and it tastes quite similar to typical bread. My two year old loves eating it.
