| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The supergrain ancient food for today. 100% whole grain. Excellent source. Whole Grain Quinoa is the most nutritious of all grain. It's high in fiber, a good source of Iron, and has all eight essential amino acids. So, it's no wonder that it was a primary staple of the ancient Incas of South America. Quinoa has a delicate nutty flavor and is very easy to prepare, Widely versatile, it's great by itself or in any recipe that calls for whole grain. Our Quinoa has been thoroughly rinsed and air dried to remove the naturally occurring bitter saponins, so it can be used without rinsing. USDA organic. Certified 100% organic by QAI. All natural. Bob's Red Mill products labeled gluten free are batch tested in our quality control laboratory. We use an Elisa Gluten Assay test to determine if a product is gluten free. Quinoa is perfect for entrees, Elisa and salads calling for whole grains. It is light and delicious while being quick and easy to prepare. An ever-increasing number of people with food allergies find that organic Quinoa permits a more normal diet.

Taste great. Way better than brown rice June 10, 2010 Chad A. Turner (Altus, OK) I try to eat healthy. Which means having to eat brown rice for a good source of carbs. I hate brown rice. I was very skeptical about quinoa. I boiled 1 cup dry which makes about 4 cups and it tastes great. I add a little salsa for a little extra flavor. It's definitely worth a try.
Excellent Quality May 4, 2010 Lynn A. Van Slyke (banks or) Very easy to prepare. There is no need to rinse first. Very healthy alternative to pasta and rice. I would recommend this to all my friends.
Great cereal choice for the gluten intolerant April 11, 2010 Barb F (Maine, USA) Quinoa is not only a fantastic whole grain and complete protein, it is delicious. For those who love cereal, but are unable to eat wheat gluten, this is perfect. The order arrived as requested, on time. The packaging is minimal, which is a big plus for the environment and another indication of the attention to detail. The bags are remarkable durable and the grain is fresh and wonderfully aromatic. It has many uses and is good sweet and salty, spicy and even plain. It is hard to find a multi purpose grain with no drawbacks I am aware of at least. All good!
very expensive April 11, 2010 Insider (santa clara) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
Quinoa was very good quality -however very expensive. 26 * 4 =104 oz ie 3120 grams ie 6.878 pounds .with subscription costs 31$ which is $4.5/LBs . I found out that simmiller organic quinoa in number 1 wholesale
club costs $9.85/ 4 lbs bag .which is almost half the price .
